Canon launched its latest series of cameras in CES 2017 that introduces a total of 4 new cameras. The series includes PowerShot G9X Mark II in G Series, PowerShot SX430 IS with ultra zoom, IXUS 190 and IXUS 185.
The latest PowerShot G9X Mark II is a premium segment camera equipped with a 20.1 mega-pixel 1.0 inch type CMOS sensor coupled with DIGIC 7 processor. The camera offers a Focal length of 28-84mm (35mm equivalent) with 3 x optical zoom. The latest G9X Mark II comes with a 7.6cm LCD touchscreen with approx. 1, 040,000 dots. The camera can also capture photographs in RAW format now just like the other High-end EOS cameras. User can also process the image on camera with its in-built image processing feature. The latest DIGIC 7 processor allows you to capture photographs in continuous shooting of 8.1 fps. For connectivity, it is equipped with WiFi and Bluetooth Low Energy. The user can also use Canon connect smartphone App to use the camera remotely.
The PowerShot G9X Mark II is priced at Rs. 30 995.00 and will be available from February onwards.
The latest IXUS 185, IXUS 190 and PowerShot SX430 IS are point and shot cameras priced under 15K. These are equipped with DIGIC 4+ image processor and a 20 megapixel CCD image sensor that can capture HD videos in 25fps. The cameras also have Canon’s ZoomPlus technology to double the zoom range without a noticeable loss in image quality. For connectivity, the PowerShot SX430 IS and IXUS 190 feature WiFi and NFC.
The IXUS 185 is priced at Rs 6995, IXUS 190 is priced at Rs 8995 and the PowerShot SX430 is priced at Rs 14995. The entire camera series will be available from February onwards.
