Huawei launched P10 and P10 Plus last month at the Mobile World Congress 2017, and the company has now announced its latest flagship, called P10 Lite. The smartphone has been launched in the UK at a price tag of GBP 299 (roughly Rs.24,000). It will go up for pre-orders from Carphone Warehouse, EE, and the sale will start from March 31. The smartphone will be available in Midnight Blue and Platinum Gold color variants.
The smartphone for the most part looks like Huawei P10 flagship with some minute changes. The P10 Lite will now have a fingerprint sensor placed at the back. There are no dual rear cameras and lastly there is no physical button at the front.
If we talk about the specifications, Huawei P10 Lite features a 5.2-inch Full HD display (1080×1920 pixels). It is powered by a 2.15GHz octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 658 SoC with Mali-T830MP2 GPU coupled. The smartphone comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable via a microSD card (up to 128GB). It is running on EMUI 5.1 based on the latest version of Android 7.0 Nougat.
As I told you earlier, there is no dual rear camera set-up on P10 Lite and there is no Leica branding as well, which we earlier seen on the P10 smartphone. The selfie camera is a 8-megapixel shooter that comes with Portrait selfie mode for Bokeh effect.
Huawei P10 Lite is based on a dual-hybrid SIM set-up and packs a 3000mAh battery with support for fast charging. It measures 146.5x72x7.2mm in dimensions and weighs 142 in grams. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, W-iFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC. Additional features include Knuckle Sense which lets you tap and draw on the display using your knuckles. The UK launch was reported by Pocket-Lint.
