Launching new Tablet by HTC

The HTC Corporation as got geared up to take a step into the Tablet world and it is expected that the company will come up with one by next year.
It has been facing many legal issues with its archrival Apple Inc. especially in regard to patents. Apple has also filed several cases against HTC. HTC has said that they will be paying more attention to these details but has no plan at present.
The CEO of the company, Peter Chou said to that HTC would not grow by cheap market. It will make sure that they don’t give up their “”premium brand”" image. “Customers are willing to pay more, that’s why we have grown nearly five times in China this year. It shows that customers support our philosophy,”" he said.
HTC released this February only one tablet model as it had decided to focus on other phones.
According to Chou, the company is still looking into the market. He added to his previous statement that the Tablet is the market where the company would definitely like to put their attempt and test their product in order to see if HTC can stand out among the Tab big wigs.
Eric Schmidt who is the CEO of Google will be in Taipei this Wednesday to talk to the local vendors. Chou said that though he will be in China, meeting Schmidt would not be possible.
HTC has come up in the last few years and has risen to become a top brand. However during this holiday season HTC may lose its share to Apple and South Korea’s Samsung.
The company had a smooth sweep in 2010 and early 2011 plus the shares of the company had almost tripled by April 2011. Consumers bought many of its ground-breaking phones with their well-defined large clock numerals.
The tech research company IDC says, HTC has now got the fourth position among the Smartphone vendors exceeding the Research in Motion.
