Measuring at just 9.6mm in thickness and weighing just 690grams, Lenovo Yoga Book is launched in India only in Windows variant. The Hybrid laptop which was earlier showcased in IFA 2016 was made available in both Android and Windows variants. However, the company has launched the Windows variant only. As of now the company does not has any focus of unveiling the Android version in India.
The Yoga Book 2-in-1 is the world’s thinnest hybrid laptop priced at Rs.49, 990 and is available exclusively on Flipkart in Carbon black color starting from today. The Lenovo Yoga book features a 10.1-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920×1200 and is powered by a 2.4GHz quad-core Intel Atom x5-Z8550 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. The device has a 64GB of Hybrid internal storage that can expandable upto 128GB via Micro-SD.
What’s new in the Yoga Book is its Halo backlit keyboard that glows while you type and vibrates just like your smartphone on touch. The keyboard features an intelligence system that records your typing habits and on the basis of which its starts glowing the keys that you use frequently. It also starts recording the data just after 2 hours when you have the device. The company also claims that the product is scratch resistant as it is made up of Magnesium alloy.
The Yoga Book can be used as scribbling down your notes directly from your notepad. It comes with a thin magnetic plate that you need to keep just beneath any kind of notebook or notepad that you use, place it on the keypad area and start using. There is a pen that works comes with the Yoga Book which acts as a stylus. It works just like any other pen and has a refillable ink.
For multimedia experience, the Lenovo Yoga Book is powered by Dolby Premium Audio that company says is loud enough. The Yoga Book houses an 8500mAh battery that could last upto 13hours. The tablet has an 8MP rear camera along with a 2MP fixed focus front camera. For connectivity, it has Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac along with 4G LTE via Nano sim.
