The world of netbooks has indeed turned nasty! Every company is busy launching netbooks which would outperform the other in some respect or the other. The last time I checked, Toshiba had launched the stunningly slim AC100 and Samsung was eying the top slot by launching products such as the N230, which boasted of a superior battery life. In order to make a good impression these companies often try different tactics, which at times lead to a negative result. Toshiba, in trying to make things look and feel different put Android into its AC100 model but the plan never worked out. It seems companies have taken lesson out of that and this is the sole reason, that Acer has finally come up with the all new Acer Aspire One D255, which runs on Android as well as Windows 7.
The Acer Aspire One D255 looks a lot different from the other models from the same Aspire One series. Like the other netbooks already available in the market, the model consists of an outer glossy body/lid and on the inner side lays the matte finish keyboard part of the netbook. The device does feel a bit plastic but has a solid body nonetheless. Although the look of the Acer Aspire One D255 is quite decent yet, it is not one of the best in the business (in same price range).
Being a leading company, Acer has put best possible efforts to incorporate most advanced features in Aspire One D255.
The review of Acer Aspire One D255 tells us that it is definitely not the best in looks when you compare the same with the other netbooks available in the market and the addition of the Android operating system isn’t much of a help either. However, the dual core processor and the lower pricing of the same are the two essential factors which make the device stand out among the rest, in the same price segment. Finally, we can only say that the Acer Aspire One D255 is a good netbook worth laying hands upon, if you are not expecting too much out of it. Acer Aspire One D255 Price in India is placed at INR 14,500 Approx.
