Asus Zenbook UX31E-DH53- A delightful device for the keen users

 Asus Zenbook has unveiled with an Apple like design which is slim, sheik and a uni-body metal and very light to handle. It showcases fast speed and gives great support in terms of battery life.

How would you feel when you open up the conveniently packed device and take it to be a MacBook Air? The Zenbook has a sharp darker glossy look on its back lid and gives a steely look. The inside consists of brushed metal surfaces in a vertical pattern.

The Zenbook weighs a good sum of 3.1 pounds and the thickness of 0.7 inches is well concealed by the elegant built. The sides of the Zenbook are lined by ports which are for all. On the left side rest the headphone jack, SD card slot and a USB. The right is stuffed with Micro an HDMI port, Mini Display Port and a USB 3.0 port.

The Zenbook can easily be slipped into a bag and out of it. So work or access the internet wherever required. It looks and definitely is more appealing to the eyes as compared to the normal laptop. Zenbook has worked hard on the design and that reflects.

The touch-pad offers two to three finger controls which are not consistently responsive. The work experience on the system is not love at first sight. The neither the touch pad nor the keyboard is a biggie.

Asus has included software which is well acquainted with by the users. The Webcam called the Life frame program has all the exciting extras. The device is quick enough to wake up from the sleep; this was around 2 seconds. The battery is very clever and informing as it shows the time left for internet browsing, video playback, office operations and game play hours estimation along with the hours left for usage. It comes with a data save feature which saves the data when the battery life dips below 5%.

The glass screen which is 13.3-inches is a glossy one with screen resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels. The picture quality deteriorates on tilting the screen and this happens at a fast pace. The Web cam is not a big show though with the camera resolution of 640 x 480 pixels.

The Zenbook is a small piece of excellence accommodating the HDMI, USB3.0 and USB 2.0 ports. Along with this there are dongles for Ethernet and VGA too. This is not a very gaming friendly device as game with higher resolution cannot be fondly running on this one.

A two year warranty on labor and parts and further one year on the accidental damage protection is genuinely given by Asus. Also a 24/7 support on the phone is available which is satisfying. The Asus Zenbook is giving a good user experience with lower prices. Hence a Zenbook can be an alternate to the MacBook Air too
