Samsung and Apple have been ruling the tab market since long; and with the introduction of PC tablet, they became the ultimate and undisputed name in the industry. But with the launch of Google Nexus 10, the competition seems to look even tougher. A 10 incher, the latest tab is a result of effort from both Samsung and Google.
Though the tab is sure to cost your pocket, still it is worth the money you spend on it. Google Nexus 10 Price in India is around INR 34,000. Manufactured by Samsung, it is the second tablet in the series. The first one, Google Nexus 7 was made by Asus. Let us magnify what this new tablet has to offer.
Design & Feel
Google Nexus 10 measures 263.9 x 177.6 x 8.9mm in dimensions and weighs 603 grams, making it quite sleek but bit heavy, though lighter than iPad. Though the device doesn’t look to impress with its finishing and design, still its rounded corners look more practical than the sharp edges of iPad.
Also, the rear panel doesn’t seem perfectly solid and can be pressed in when pressure is forced. But when you actually hold Google Nexus 10, it gives a feel that the device can survive the drop compared to iPad. Overall, this 10 inch tablet looks comfortable to hold owing to its design and structure.
Hardware & Performance
As the name suggest, Google Nexus 10 comes with 10.1 inches Super PLS TFT capacitive touchscreen offering 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution. Further, the tab is powered with Dual-core 1.7 GHz Cortex-A15 processor and includes Exynos 5250 chipset. The inclusion of Mali-T604 GPU and 2GB RAM does make Nexus 10 blazing fast and compatible with high-end games.
Multitasking seems fun with the inclusion of Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS, which can also be also upgradable to version 4.2.1. Available in 16GB and 32GB internal storage versions, the tab offers a huge space to save important files, apps, images, songs and videos, though DS card has not been included. It further comes with 5MP rear camera with LED flash and includes 1.9MP front camera for video chat.
