Samsung LN46D630- the Big TV for all

Samsung LN46D630 is a part of the Samsung series clan. This is a 46 inches TV that comes clad with extremely good features and a very sheik look. Bearing a weight of 41.2Ibs (without stand), the TV is one piece of complete entertainment for the whole family and friends too. The external dimensions of the LCD TV are 3.2 x 43.5 x 26.5 inches. The 46 inch display offers a treat to the eyes at good prices.

The TFT active matrix technology is in brief a good amount of active interest to the TV. The 46 inches widescreen has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and further supports a 1080p full HD video giving a dynamic contrast ratio of 250000:1. These make the whole experience a very good one for the user and the TV itself.

The LND630 forms an eternal part of the non LED TV league. These are featured by a sleek design that gives a pleasant appearance to the TV.  The edges are transparent and sleek too. The bottom edge however is a bronze coloured strip offsetting the black of the screen. The base with the glass top no more rests the TV; Samsung has now moved on to the black plastic.

Samsung gives along a mid range remote with this piece of art. The remote keys are all supported by a back light. This lets you see all the keys in the dark while you are watching a horror show and would like to instantly switch on to something else. The grid lay out of the keys on this one is not very pleasing while the other Samsung remotes feature systematically differentiated control keys. Here too there is a logical grouping but will take time for one to understand it completely.

The menus on the TV are the same as featured by the previous one. It has a snappy response and easy to navigate and read graphics which are transparent and blue highlighted. Every function comes with a text explanation for the viewers to easily decide on the action for the same.

210Hz processing is offered only by the LND630 in spite of being a non LED TV. The Ethernet port featured can download firmware updates if required. It also has the ability to play the multimedia files through DLNA while it lacks on the internet streaming that is found on LED based TVs.

The LND630 possesses the full range picture settings that provide immense control in comparison to the others in the market. The super colour management gives immense leverage to the user to adjust as per the requirement.

The TV also features many connectors that perform well and do not let the TV stay isolated. It features a 2 x Audio line in, 4 x HDMI, 1 x VGA input, 2 x component video input, 2 USB 2.0, 1 digital audio output and 1 audio line output.

The sound quality too is good in here. The sound output mode is the stereo with 20 Watt output power having 2 x right/left channel speaker with one 10 Watt built in. This gives additional features like the Auto volume leveller (AVL). The sound has a good SRS Theatre Sound effect with surround sound.

With so much to give to the viewer, the TV comes in handy at a price of 999USD which is not much of a big deal. Having a 46 inches TV in your living room with too many features to look up to is a good deal indeed.
